Jason Hartwig of Nharangga and Karuna heritage in South Australia and Gunggandji, Ngaro, Gia, Juru in Queensland. Over 400 Original Nations have lived on this continent since before the memory of man.

My Artwork is a fusion of contemporary and traditional Aboriginal Art. I am one of many artists who work in a culturally diverse and technologically advancing world. I use acrylic paints and colours and traditional oxide rocks (ochre paint). My artwork depicts Reef Creatures and Stories that connect to the Great Barrier Reef, Astronomical observations and other totemic art. I also do “slogans” and mixed-media Art on Shirts, etc.

I am also the first to create an original history timeline perspective going back +70,000 years. I explain the timeline in more detail in person. My passion for a more truthful perspective of history turned out to be more than I had expected. My timeline is not meant to take anything away from other major examples of ancient world history. It depicts the significance of Aboriginal Australia’s ancient history and its unique contribution to world history.
